Dec. 23rd the Harney County court will hear arguments to implement parts of BM114. The hearing on December 23 is at the request of the State to decide on portions of the PTP such as the waiting period and completed background check even if the State does not complete the task promptly. The State has, by its direct decisions and actions, exacerbated the background check situation and will attempt to use this situation, of their own making, in their argument to implement portions of the PTP; instead of fulfilling their commitment to complete background checks promptly.
