Volunteer Hours
A Range Maintenance Fee of $60.00 per year is assessed to each member. However, members can offset the fee by providing 4-hours of volunteer work during the membership year. Volunteer hours may be accrued during the year by volunteering for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
- Range maintenance, cleanup, and improvement projects
- Helping with setup, staffing, and teardown at ECS events
- Serving as a Range Safety Officer for shooting events
- Assisting with solicitation for donations and prizes
- Helping distribute ECS advertising flyers and brochures, and more. There are many ways you can help!
Volunteer hours may be earned by any ECS member at $15.00 per hour, up to a maximum of 4 hours, unless otherwise agreed upon by the ECS Board. Volunteer hours cannot be carried over from year to year. Volunteer hours cannot be applied to event fees. Volunteer hours are recorded on the Record of Volunteer Hours cards and submitted to the Treasurer who tracks the hours and maintains the records.
